The Kirksville Area Chamber of Commerce, on Friday, April 18, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for local cannabis dispensary Missouri Health and Wellness, 215 E. Charles Street in Kirksville. The business, which was recently remodeled and expanded, hoped to hold an even bigger event on Sunday, 4/20, with live music, food trucks and door prizes. The newly remodeled building houses a wide selection of cannabis products and, according to manager Dalton Kriegel, "all sorts of great deals". He said the business is not “vertically integrated," so being smaller, they offer more “niche” products. “We have all sorts of brands and all sorts of products, and we can really hone in on what customers want and help our customers with the medicines they need,” Kriegel said.
